Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Amazing Deals India (ADI) handles personal data when buyers, sellers and visitors use our marketplace, applications and related services.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
1. Scope and our role
This Privacy Policy applies to the Amazing Deals India website, marketplace accounts, checkout, seller tools, customer support and related services. Depending on the activity, ADI may act as the entity deciding why and how personal data is processed, while sellers and service providers may separately process data for their own lawful purposes.
We handle personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules brought into force from time to time.
2. Personal data we may collect
- Account and identity details such as name, email address, mobile number, login identifiers and profile information.
- Order and delivery information such as products purchased, delivery address, billing details, order history, returns, refunds and support records.
- Seller and business information required for marketplace onboarding, verification, tax, bank payout, compliance and fraud prevention.
- Payment-related transaction information. Payment credentials may be collected and processed by authorised payment providers; ADI does not need to store complete card credentials to process an order.
- Device, browser, session, cookie, diagnostic, security and usage information used to operate and protect the marketplace.
- Information you voluntarily provide in reviews, messages, uploaded files, customer support conversations or promotional participation.
3. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, process orders and payments, arrange delivery and returns, provide customer support, verify sellers, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain marketplace safety, comply with legal obligations, improve the service and communicate service-related information.
Where consent is required, we seek consent through an appropriate notice or choice. Where Indian law permits another lawful use, we may rely on that basis only to the extent permitted by law.
4. Sharing of personal data
We may share only the data reasonably needed with the seller fulfilling an order, payment processors, logistics and courier providers, identity or bank-verification providers, cloud and technology vendors, communication providers, professional advisers and government or regulatory authorities when legally required.
Service providers are expected to use data for the permitted service and to apply appropriate safeguards. A seller receiving buyer information for fulfilment must handle it lawfully and only for legitimate marketplace purposes.
5. Payments, seller verification and fraud prevention
Payment authorisation is performed through approved payment infrastructure. Seller bank, KYC and verification checks may be performed through specialist providers. ADI may use risk signals to detect account takeover, suspicious orders, payment fraud, abusive returns, prohibited listings and other marketplace misuse.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
ADI may use essential cookies and local storage for authentication, cart continuity, security and preferences, and may use analytics technologies to understand marketplace performance. Where consent is legally required for a non-essential technology, the applicable consent controls will govern its use.
7. Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance and enforcement of our agreements. Retention periods may differ by data category and legal requirement.
ADI uses administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No internet service can promise absolute security, so we also encourage users to protect passwords, devices and one-time codes and to report suspected account misuse promptly.
8. International processing
Some technology or service providers may process data in India or other jurisdictions where they operate. Where personal data is transferred outside India, ADI will apply restrictions and safeguards required by applicable Indian law.
9. Your privacy rights
To the extent provided by applicable law, you may request information about processing of your personal data, correction or updating of inaccurate data, erasure where legally available, and grievance redressal. Rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection framework apply according to the provisions and commencement dates then in force.
Send a privacy request from the email or mobile number associated with your account, where possible, to contact@amazingdealsindia.com. We may verify identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
ADI is a general marketplace and is not designed to solicit children to create seller accounts or independently enter commercial agreements. Where processing of a child's personal data is subject to special consent or protection requirements, ADI will apply the requirements that are in force and applicable to that processing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, legal obligations or data practices change. The current version and its last-updated date will remain publicly available on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
12. Contact and grievance redressal
For privacy questions or complaints, email contact@amazingdealsindia.com or use our Grievance Redressal page.
